The 6 Best Spas in Oahu 2023

No vacation is complete without pampering yourself to the fullest with a spa day. And when you visit world-class resorts in Oahu, you can expect to have the best luxury spas and treatments.

Oahu is well-known for its resorts and hotels that provide guests with top-notch spa facilities as soon as they arrive. So expect to get massages, facials, aromatherapy, and saunas like no other you’ve had before.

My boyfriend and I are spa addicts and try every spa facility our hotels provide. However, on our last trip to Oahu, we also visited many local spas to try out their best treatments, and they were excellent!

So I’ve listed the best places to get a terrific spa treatment on Oahu in this article. After reading about these spas, I promise you’ll be booking the next flight to Oahu for a relaxing massage and treatment session!

Paradise Massages Waikiki and Spa – Best Couples Spa Oahu

Paradise Massages Waikiki and Spa - Best Couples Spa Oahu

Located inside the Waikiki Shopping Plaza, this small suite-based spa is one of the best in Oahu for its attentive services and skilled masseuses. They’re also the best place to get a relaxing couples massage in a secluded suite.

Their most famous is the 90-minute couples massage which includes a facial and a full body massage. You can also choose your desired pressure (light, medium, deep), and the masseuse immediately identifies sore spots and knots to work on. We tried this after a day of surfing and felt so refreshed!

Other great treatments include the sixty-minute Lomi Lomi Massage, a Hawaiian oil massage, and the Combination Massage, which applies pressure and oil, focusing on specific areas to relieve pain & discomfort.

The attentive staff and friendly treatment make Paradise Massage and Spa way better than your hotel’s spa. We loved it here and consider it the best spa in Oahu for couples.

  • They have a range of excellent facials like Hawaiian Bliss, illuminate, and Microdermabrasion.
  • The masseuse is skilled and checks in throughout the treatment for discomfort.
  • Their prices are nearly $200 per person for a 90-minute treatment.

Address: 2250 Kalakaua Ave Suite 403.1, Honolulu, Oahu, HI.

Honolulu Spa and Wellness – Best Spa in Honolulu

Honolulu Spa and Wellness - Best Spa in Honolulu

This isn’t your average spa with only massages and facials; Honolulu Spa and Wellness provides medicated treatments for your skin (especially facial treatments) performed by licensed pros.

They specialize in advanced skin care treatments like HydraFacial, micro-needling, peels, LED light therapy, microdermabrasion, dermal infusion, and anti-acne treatments.

I visited this spa with friends in Honolulu who recommended their acne treatments. So we tried the Hydrafacial, which included a detoxifying massage, dermaplaning, LED therapy, and ended with a luxury masque. The 90 minutes flew by because our estheticians, Rachel and Tuyet, were so skilled and did a fantastic job.

You can also choose from their range of anti-acne, organic, and multivitamin facials, which refresh your skin for days, and cost pretty decent.

We loved the services at Honolulu Spa and Wellness and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reasonably priced skincare.

  • You can get an add-on of any treatment, like facials and waxing, at a small fee.
  • The atmosphere here was quiet and relaxed, ideal for a spa.
  • The prices are between $75-400 for most treatments.

Address: 1441 Kapiolani Blvd Ala Moana Medical Building, Suite 1041, Honolulu, Oahu, HI.

Moana Lani Spa at Moana Surfrider – Best Spa in Waikiki

Moana Lani Spa at Moana Surfrider - Best Spa in Waikiki

Once you step foot into Waikiki’s only oceanside spa, you’ll never want to leave. This spa is inside the historic Moana Surfrider hotel in Waikiki, spreading over 18,000 sq. ft., and has rooms facing the beautiful Oahu ocean.

They have excellent massage and body rituals, like the honey sugar body scrub for exfoliating and lightening skin and the refreshing Lilikoi and Eucalyptus rain showers.

Moana Lani also does the best manicures and pedicures from their esthetician, Maria, who gives you picture-perfect nails however you like them.

My boyfriend and I also tried their private spa suites, where you can take a secluded coconut milk & island water soak while facing the ocean views from your suite’s windows. The relaxation lounge with wavy blue chairs, spaced-out sofas, and seats right by the window was the perfect place to unwind after the treatments.

You’ll love Moana Lani’s skilled aestheticians and perfect services, making them the best spa in Waikiki Oahu.

  • The staff is very friendly and provides great care in all the treatments.
  • Forbes voted this spa as one of the best spas in Oahu.
  • Their prices are high, at nearly $100 and up, for most treatments.

Address: 2365 Kalakaua Ave Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa, Waikiki Beach, Honolulu, Oahu, HI.

Laniwai Spa at Aulani, a Disney Resort

Laniwai Spa at Aulani, a Disney Resort

Expect to get pampered for a whole day at Laniwai Spa, part of the luxury Disney resort in Ko Olina. They offer some excellent services, especially the outdoor hydrotherapy garden, which feels like walking into a goddess’s world. In addition, the garden has multiple soaking pools with fluctuating water temperatures and six waterfalls.

We got the Kilikili (fine gentle rain) massages, including full body exfoliation and a Lomi Lomi massage. Afterward, you can sit in the spa’s heated lounge or cool off in the men’s and women’s locker areas.

After our treatment, we ordered lunch in the lounge area and relaxed until our next appointments. You can also get nails done from their terrific nail aestheticians, and my boyfriend got their special men’s treatments, including facials, scrubs, and shaves, which he loved.

Laniwai Spa’s award-winning services and resort-style setting makes them the best spa in Oahu.

  • Their outdoor area is co-ed and a great place for kids to enjoy.
  • The men’s and women’s locker rooms have great facilities for showering, drying, and cleansing.
  • There’s a cute gift shop in the spa that sells souvenirs and at-home treatment kits.

Nalu Kinetic Spa at Turtle Bay Resort

Nalu Kinetic Spa at Turtle Bay Resort

Oahu’s North shore houses this incredible spa in its Turtle Bay Resort, overlooking ocean views in an outdoor service area. Although Nalu Kinetic Spa isn’t state-of-the-art like most modern spas, there’s a comfort in its classiness with the use of pure, sustainable, and natural ingredients.

You want to try the Sunset Massage; that’s very relaxing and therapeutic. We tried massages from their Spa Packages, including the Ginger Coconut Sugar Glow and the Ho’onanea Stress Relief Massage, which are great for unwinding after a long day.

Some other great facilities at the spa include fitness classes, yoga, and bodywork programs with skilled teachers and top-notch gear. The best part is that each spa treatment, massage, and fitness class looks out onto the North Shore, making for a gorgeous healing atmosphere.

You’ll love the facilities and ambiance at Nalu Kinetic Spa, as they’re one of the best spas in Oahu.

  • The spa treatments also include full-body wedding treatments.
  • The prices are steep, starting at $150, but well worth the services.
  • They offer a wave therapy massage table that gently rocks guests in a floating motion.

Address: 57-091 Kamehameha Highway Kahuku, Oahu, HI.

Naupaka Spa and Wellness Center at Four Seasons

Naupaka Spa and Wellness Center at Four Seasons

This newly built spa at the Four Seasons Resort is the stuff of dreams – spanning five floors, an Olympic-sized tennis court, jacuzzis, cooling pools, and a beautiful garden, among many other facilities. However, a luxury spa means luxury prices, but the terrific treatments and services are well worth the costs.

You want to try the Makana Massage with a hot stone add-on that is very soothing and takes you to a new world of comfort.

My boyfriend liked their massage so much that we booked the Ho’oku’i treatment together in their serene Outdoor Hale that includes a twenty-minute Sugar & Hawaiian Salt Scrub, followed by a fifty-minute Makana massage.

In addition, their facilities include a Himalayan sea salt chamber, where you can book any spa treatment and get halotherapy from the chamber, which heals any respiratory issues.

The scale of facilities at the Naupaka Spa is world-class, and you can’t miss a day here if you truly want to pamper yourself on vacation.

  • Their lounge area for women has tons of facilities, free goodies, and an enchanting tea room.
  • There are very relaxing spa treatments for children as well.
  • Get the Rose Quartz Healing Facial, an aromatic crystal facial massage, or a hair-styling appointment from their in-house celebrity stylist.

Address: 92-1001 Olani St, Kapolei, Oahu, HI.
